HBA Contractors has always placed the highest priority on safety. Our policies and procedures are continually improving worker safety and loss prevention by reducing General Liability and Worker’s Compensation claims, which positively impacts construction costs. Our safety department implements the most current training methods and procedures.
We demand a drug and alcohol free workplace. Each employee is required to sign a substance abuse policy acknowledgment and release form. All employees are tested for drugs prior to reporting to work. Periodic random testing of employees is a requirement under HBA Contractors company drug policy.
Subcontractors of HBA Contractors are required to have a substance abuse policy that applies separately to their employees. Subcontractors are asked to certify that a drug policy is in force, and that their employees have signed screening and testing consent forms.
